The Milford Striped Bass Club hosts a variety of member-focused events, tournaments, and community activities throughout the year. From fishing competitions and family gatherings to community outreach programs, there is something for every member to enjoy. Annual Member Dinner

Each year, MSBC hosts a dinner for club members to come together and celebrate another successful season. This event provides an opportunity to enjoy great food, reconnect with fellow members, share fishing stories, and recognize the friendships that make our club special.

Milford Children's Trout Derby

One of the club's most cherished traditions, the Milford Children's Trout Derby is held annually in partnership with the City of Milford. Taking place at the two downtown Milford ponds on the first Saturday in May, the event provides children ages 15 and under with an exciting opportunity to experience the sport of fishing.

Each year, the ponds are stocked with hundreds of trout, including many trophy-sized fish. Following the derby, participants can take part in a casting contest before prizes, trophies, and raffle items are awarded. The Trout Derby has introduced generations of young anglers to fishing and remains one of the club's most rewarding community outreach efforts.

Annual Picnic

Held each summer, the MSBC Annual Picnic is open to all members and their families. This popular event brings members together for a day of great food, friendship, and relaxation. From traditional cookout favorites to seafood specialties and homemade dishes, the picnic is an opportunity to enjoy time with fellow club members away from the water.

Election Night

Each December, club members gather for the annual election of officers for the upcoming year. Following the business portion of the meeting, members enjoy complimentary food and refreshments while celebrating another successful year and looking ahead to the next fishing season.
